[FAVBET Tech](https://www.facebook.com/share/p/17gsBtAfmk/?mibextid=wwXIfr) confirms that it has been designated as an enterprise critical to the functioning of the economy and essential services during a special period, in full compliance with Ukrainian law.

When this status was determined, the company met all criteria set out in Paragraph 2 of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 76 dated January 27, 2023, including that:

- the total amount of taxes, fees, mandatory payments, and the unified social contribution (USC) exceeds the equivalent of €1.5 million;
- there is no arrears on USC payments;
- the company’s average salary in Kyiv meets or exceeds the citywide average; 
- the company is a Diia.City resident.

In 2024, FAVBET Tech paid over UAH 766 million in taxes and mandatory payments to national and local budgets. In the first nine months of 2025, the company paid over UAH 650 million.

The number of [FAVBET Tech ](**link**) employees granted reservation does not exceed 50% of all staff subject to military duty, which fully complies with Ukrainian legislation.

Reservations are used exclusively to ensure continuity of operations and the performance of critical functions, including the sustained payment of taxes and social contributions.

The winners were announced on October 1 during a ceremony at the Ukrainian House in Kyiv, with results determined through a hybrid voting model — 50% audience votes and 50% expert jury evaluation.

Participants talked about practical steps that help companies scale during instability, remain competitive, and uncover new opportunities amid market unpredictability.

Another key topic was the role of the CEO in 2025. Experts shared their experience in creating mature organizational structures that ensure stability and spoke about how to build an employer brand that attracts talented professionals and fosters a space where people want to work and grow. Much attention was also paid to optimizing internal processes — as this directly impacts team management efficiency and project delivery speed.

Experts emphasized that the modern service business can no longer afford to remain static. Clients expect quick solutions, transparent communication, and consistent results. Companies must seek innovative tools, introduce new approaches to strengthening loyalty, and always be ready for global competition.

IT Meets Held in Vinnytsia: The Main Topic — The Future of the Service Business and the Role of the CEO

At the end of August, the first meeting of the AI Committee of the IT Ukraine Association and the developers of Ukraine’s AI Development Strategy took place in Kyiv. The strategy aims to set long-term development guidelines for the industry until 2030 within the framework of the global WINWIN Digital Innovation Development Strategy.

Participants included representatives of the consulting company Digital Nation (Estonia), Siim Sikkut and Sigrit Siht; Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Digital Transformation, Head of AI at the WINWIN project office, Luukas Ilves.

During the discussion, the parties outlined the key provisions of the future Strategy, current challenges for the state, business, and academic community, as well as possible mechanisms for integrating the Ukrainian AI sector into the global context — from aligning open data standards to talent development and the creation of joint R&D projects.

On August 20, IT leaders, cybersecurity experts, and lawyers gathered at GNRTR Coworking in Kyiv to discuss data security in business. Throughout the day, participants of the IT Meets session “Cybersecurity: How Businesses Can Protect Themselves from Threats” shared experiences, engaged in discussions, and proposed practical solutions to help companies remain resilient in an era of digital risks.

The stage discussions addressed key questions: who is truly responsible for security in companies in 2025, why formal certification does not guarantee protection, and how to communicate properly with clients in case of a cyber incident. The talks also touched upon ISO/IEC 27001 standards, KYC/KYS checks of contractors, and new requirements from international partners.

The conversation addressed who should speak on behalf of the company, how quickly to respond, and which mistakes to avoid.

Despite the complexity of the topic, the conference was held in an open and collaborative atmosphere, creating a foundation for practical dialogue. Participants left with a clear understanding that cybersecurity is no longer the responsibility of isolated technical departments. It is a shared responsibility of businesses, communications teams, and leadership. This is how an environment of trust with clients and partners is built, even in times of unpredictable threats.

“Cybersecurity is a Shared Responsibility”: IT Meets in Kyiv Discussed How Businesses Can Protect Their Data and Reputation

In the first half of 2025, the company hired the largest number of technical specialists among the ranking participants.

FAVBET Tech made it into the [DOU Top 50 IT Companies in Ukraine](https://dou.ua/lenta/articles/top-50-summer-2025/) ranking for the first time and became one of four new entrants to the list, together with UPSTARS, Kyivstar.Tech, and mono. The ranking includes specialists working in Ukraine as well as those who relocated but continue paying taxes in Ukraine.

As of the first half of 2025, 79.1 thousand professionals were employed in the Ukrainian Top 50 companies. Compared to the previous half-year, this number remained almost unchanged, marking the first signs of market stability since the beginning of the full-scale war.
Growth leaders were mostly product companies, including [FAVBET Tech](https://www.facebook.com/favbettech/). In the first half of 2025, 133 technical specialists joined the company — the largest number among all participants of the summer ranking.

Overall, during the past six months, the FAVBET Tech team in Ukraine has only been growing. The company is currently focusing on development (PHP, Node.js, Java), strengthening business analytics, infrastructure, and AI directions.

Together, they discuss which roles are in high demand, where job seekers face the toughest challenges, and which positions remain unfilled for months. Today’s market is full of paradoxes. On paper, there seem to be plenty of specialists, yet finding the right talent remains difficult. Senior professionals are switching jobs less frequently, prioritizing stability — especially those who’ve managed to keep their peak-level compensation from 2020–2021. Meanwhile, companies are aggressively looking for talent who can drive sales. Demand for sales and marketing roles has risen to about 20% of all openings, while the need for artificial intelligence specialists is also climbing.

According to Rudenko, one of the fastest entry points into the industry is customer support, where communication skills and basic English are more important than technical expertise. From there, career growth becomes much more accessible.

At the same time, opposite trends are at play. Senior employees most often leave due to conflicts with management, while companies are willing to invest heavily to secure candidates with the right skill set. Both outsourcing and product companies are hiring, though outsourcing firms are doing so at a much smaller scale than a few years ago. Interestingly, job seekers are lowering salary expectations if their search drags on too long.

Junior candidates, however, are rarely hired. Applications for entry-level roles are also dropping, as many newcomers abandon the job hunt after repeated failures. Still, the market is showing signs of recovery, with new opportunities emerging in Defence Tech, R&D, and industries far removed from the traditional tech sector.

In July, the Kooperativ venue in Kyiv hosted the discussion panel “AI Without the Gloss,” organized by the [Wtech](https://www.linkedin.com/company/wtechclub/) community. The event brought together top managers of leading Ukrainian IT companies to openly talk about their real experiences implementing artificial intelligence. The event was supported by [FAVBET Tech](https://www.linkedin.com/company/favbet-tech/?originalSubdomain=ua), and one of the speakers was its CEO, Artem Skrypnyk.

In his speech, Skrypnyk emphasized a thoughtful approach to integrating AI into the company’s internal processes and products. According to him, artificial intelligence at FAVBET Tech is primarily a tool to empower teams rather than replace people.

*“Unlike Western businesses that openly reduce staff due to AI, FAVBET Tech has a different goal — to increase team efficiency and deepen expertise in areas where there used to be a lack of hands. We don’t lay people off because of automation, we learn to do more,”* the CEO said.

He noted that today FAVBET Tech is actively using AI in analytics, cybersecurity, user experience personalization, and marketing. The company is also developing its own AI models, which are already showing higher accuracy than external solutions.

FAVBET Tech currently employs many analysts and has a small team of mathematicians who develop proprietary AI models to support data specialists. As Skrypnyk explained, this approach provides the team with better analytics than third-party providers' models.

Special attention was given to the experience of developers. AI assistants like Cursor are used at FAVBET Tech as helpers for experienced engineers, but the company does not rely on them for critical tasks. Junior specialists undergo additional code reviews to prevent blindly copying neural network outputs.
