The digital front is getting stronger every day: How FAVBET Tech supports the Ukrainian cyber army

Cyber resistance has become part of the work of the FAVBET Tech team, which regularly attacks enemy IT systems and creates software for the Armed Forces. "Counterattacks in the East will be accompanied by large-scale digital attacks. We do not disclose the plans, but I assure you that today our cyber troops are ready for battle and will only increase their pace", – Artem Skrypnyk, CEO of FAVBET Tech.
Since the first days of the invasion, Ukrainian society has demonstrated miracles of self-organization and dedication to a common goal. Thanks to the activities of millions of volunteers and the active position of business, combat units continuously receive new samples of modern weapons and ammunition, and the enemy suffers losses not only on the battlefield, but also in the information and digital space. The latter is the achievement of thousands of cyber soldiers, including FAVBET Tech employees, who regularly attack enemy IT systems and create software for the Armed Forces.
According to the CEO of the company, Artem Skrypnyk, cyber resistance has now become part of the work of almost the entire team under his leadership.
"We have a lot of highly qualified specialists, so from the very beginning of the war we supported the Digital Ministry in the initiative of deploying the IT army. Currently, they have already organized their own cyber troops, which deal a devastating blow to the enemy's IT infrastructure 24/7, coordinate with other cyber volunteers and plan offensive actions on their IT front," says the director.
The work proceeds in several directions at once - from blocking propaganda resources and DDOS-attacks on the key IT nodes of the enemy to the development of mobile applications that help army units to perform combat tasks. The company is also negotiating with technology partners from other countries to refuse to use Russian services and block hostile media.
FAVBET's IT army now has more than a few dozen people, and the effectiveness of attacks is about 90%. The main target of attacks is important objects of the information infrastructure, such as banking systems, websites of "Government Services", state bodies, mass media, air carriers and fiscal data operators. In recent months, coordinated attacks have taken place on more than 1,000 sites, APIs and other resources, and the effectiveness reaches 85-90%, depending on the level of protection.
Many of the important projects that the company implements on the cyber front began with individual initiatives of its employees. Such, for example, was the Finders service, which helps in the search for missing and evacuated Ukrainians. It was developed and launched in a few days by several employees who saw how difficult it is to search for information about loved ones using paper lists and photos, and decided to create a single digital database. During the service's operation, the data of more than 50,000 evacuated Ukrainians were placed on it.
There are also less serious, but no less useful initiatives among the Favbet Aitians, such as the Big Balls site, where you can assess the dignity of world leaders and donate to support the army. They do not plan to stop at FAVBET Tech. "Counterattacks in the East will be accompanied by large-scale digital attacks. We do not reveal the plans, but I assure you that today our cyber troops are ready for battle and will only increase their pace," says Artem Skrypnyk.
