In UNIT.City hosted another quarterly Intro Meeting organized by the Diia.City Union. The event brought together representatives of over 100 Diia.City resident companies, along with new members of the Union. Ukrainian tech company [FAVBET Tech](https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1HjG6Cv3Nz/?mibextid=wwXIfr) served as the event partner.

Intro Meeting is a recurring event by the Diia.City Union, where new companies are introduced and the opportunities of the Diia.City space for tech businesses are presented. During the event, participants also discussed the future of the IT industry in Ukraine, recent legislative changes, and shared their experiences of operating in today’s challenging environment, while also networking for future collaboration.

The **IT Ukraine Association** has announced the members of its new **AI Committee** — a platform uniting companies from various sectors of the Ukrainian economy that are actively adopting artificial intelligence technologies. The committee will serve as an industry hub for sharing expertise, developing joint initiatives, and creating solutions to foster the systematic growth of AI in Ukraine.

[The AI Committee includes companies from the IT industry](https://yan.ua/l/ITU-AI-Committee-Companies), pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, EdTech, cloud services, digital manufacturing, and other sectors. Among the participants are: AgriChain, KNESS, UCLOUD, Agiliway, CHI Software, Darnytsia, GigaCloud, Sigma Software, Luxoft, DevRain, SPD Technology, Impressit, N-iX, GMS, IT SmartFlex, Memcrab, 8allocate, Metinvest Digital, Geniusee, IT-Enterprise, EPAM Digital, MHP, IT Step, FRENDT, and FAVBET Tech.

The committee’s initial phase will span six months and will include a series of strategic sessions dedicated to studying AI implementation practices, identifying development barriers, creating a map of key market players (The Ukrainian AI Industry Navigator), and launching cross-sector projects aimed at strengthening the technological ecosystem.

The general partner and co-initiator of the AI Committee is **FAVBET Tech**, a Ukrainian IT company that develops innovative entertainment solutions with a focus on personalization, big data, digital platform security, and AI implementation. In addition to supporting the committee’s activities, the company has also joined as a member.

The first strategic session focused on regulation, education, and integrating AI into key sectors of the economy.

On July 1, the inaugural strategic session of the [AI Committee of the IT Ukraine Association](https://yan.ua/l/ITU-AI-Facebook) took place — a new expert platform bringing together industry leaders to foster the development of artificial intelligence in Ukraine.
Among the participants were more than 15 representatives of leading companies, including AgriChain, KNESS, UCLOUD, GigaCloud, N-iX, Sigma Software, IT-Enterprise, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, and [FAVBET Tech](https://www.linkedin.com/company/favbet-tech/?originalSubdomain=ua), which also co-initiated the AI Committee.

During the session, participants worked on several key topics: Government relations and legal regulation — discussing legislative barriers and AI standards; Education and talent development — exploring ways to cultivate AI expertise in Ukraine; Another key focus was the integration of AI into priority areas of the IT industry — analyzing how artificial intelligence is transforming adjacent economic sectors, unlocking new business opportunities, and stimulating innovation.

*“The AI Committee is both an expert platform and a tool for shaping policy and advancing the technological landscape of the country,”* noted Maria Shevchuk, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association.

Artem Skrypnyk, CEO of FAVBET Tech and one of the initiators of the AI Committee, added: *“The goal of the Committee is to rethink the industry's development approach and create conditions for building a competitive AI ecosystem in Ukraine. The Association noted that such sessions will be held regularly and will involve even more companies. In addition to the AI Committee, IT Ukraine currently operates four other industry-focused committees: EdTech, FinTech, CyberTech, and AgriTech. FAVBET Tech joined the IT Ukraine Association in the summer of 2022 and has since been a consistent partner of its industry initiatives and events.
